Anti-Valentine's Day Party: Single or Not Single

A new trend for all of those that are not BIG fans of Valentine's Day. Whether single or taken, Valentine's Day is NOT for everyone! Want to have fun this Valentine's Day? Get your friends together and have an Anti-Valentine's Day Party! This is a quick party that can be thrown in a few days. Nothing too fancy, unless you really want to do more at your party. So put your party pants on and take note! Here is how to throw a memorable ANTI-VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY!

Anyone who doesn't like or HATES Valentine's Day!

Anyone SINGLE

Couples can even come too

Rules for Couples:

1. They may arrive together, but to get through the door, they need to say 1 mean thing about each other.
   
2. No PDA allowed what so ever! (Unless the party starts getting rawdy & people start hooking up of course- we're not here to break up relationship!)
3. No "I love you's"
4. Mingle with everyone. Don't be stuck at each others hips the whole night
   
5. No mushy love stories about how you met, what you're doing for Valentine's Day, how you proposed, etc.
   

• Be sure to decorate in BLACKS & REDS (Leave out happy PINK & WHITE)
• Instead of WHOLE hearts use BROKEN HEARTS
• Decorate your walls with FAMOUS EX'S
• Make sure everyone comes dressed SEXY in BLACK
  
• And of course, an amazing PLAYLIST!

If you are having a party, you of course have to have food! For my party I chose to go with "Comfort Foods!" Foods that we loved eating as children and continue to love eating, some of which we really love after a horrible break up. Most of this food is "junk food" and finger foods, but they make easy to eat food for a casual party! Here are a few great choices for filling those broken hearts!

• Mac n Cheese (Hot dogs if you like)
  
• Ice Cream of all sorts of flavors
• Boxes of chocolate
• Meatballs & Sauce
• Brownies & Cookies
• Fudge
• Greasy (but so yummy) quesadillas
• Doughnuts (especially the kind filled with jam)
• Pizza (or better yet pizza bites or rolls)
• Chips & Salsa
• Wine
  

Adios Mother Fu*ker: Mix all ingredients together with ice and pour into glass. Enjoy!

½ oz. Vodka
½ oz. Rum
½ oz. Tequila
½ oz. Gun
½ oz. Blue Curacao liqueur
2 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix
2 oz. Lemon/Lime Soda
1 Maraschino cherry
1 Lemon slice

Cupids Broken Arrow: Shake ingredients together with ice & strain!

3 oz. Three-O Mango Vodka

½ oz. Triple Sec

1 oz. cranberry juicy

Splash fresh lime juice

Valentine's Day on the Rocks: Mix all ingredients together with ice & pour!

1 ½ oz. Three O Cherry Vodka

4 oz. Ginger ale

Splash of Grenadine

1 Cherry (optional)

My choice for the evening? An awesome PASSION PARTY!! That's right. It is perfect for a night like this and makes for great entertainment. Plus, if you are having a party for singles and/or taken souls, it will be beneficial for both parties! For those SINGLE people, they can find their new "Boyfriend" until they get a real one (and even than you might want to keep your new toy around)! And for those who are TAKEN, it will make a great gift for the two of you to enjoy after a long night of not being able to show any PDA at the party!

Some friendly tips:

• Make sure everyone coming knows you will be having a Passion Party (we need to be considerate of everyone's personal opinions)
• Have fun with it & play games
• Make sure whoever your Passion Party consultant is, is either a friend or someone you feel comfortable around so you can really have fun!
• Ask tons of questions! This is a great time to learn lots of new tricks!
